The moment H took over creative, that’s when I knew that Asuka could be getting a much deserved and need resurgence that would eventually led up to her finally using her old gimmick as the reason why she was dominate in NXT was because H considered her one of the more skilled talents that he has seen (that and with how much respect H has for Japanese wrestling as Shinsuke, Kairi, Shirai, and Meiko all received big pushes, but Asuka’s was probably the craziest due to her at one point holding one of the longest undefeated streak in the company’s track records). Hopefully they don’t screw her up again, but from what I seen after her transitions, it seems she’s in good hands. But yeah, her old matches in Japan were pretty brutal due to less restrictions.
